Handmade in Bornholm, Denmark, this midcentury stoneware bowl was designed by noted ceramic artist Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Sons. The geometric carved pattern and earthy glaze tones are signature elements of Starck’s modern Scandinavian aesthetic. A beautifully balanced mix of form and function, this bowl makes a striking addition to any vintage, Scandinavian, or modern rustic home.
This piece is signed with Starck’s “MS” mark and the Michael Andersen three-fish logo, and stamped “Bornholm” on the base.
